The Odyessy Part 2

We have just about wrapped up the odyessy. It was a great adventure novel. I didnt mind the book in the beggining but as the story went on i started to like it. Its not so much a page truner but its still a great book. The lititure is a wonderful art. Its not like your average adventure book it has meaning in every sentence. The plot is a very intersting one. Its a about a man going to war and ending up lost and not being home for abdout 20 years. Even though we missed a couple chapters i felt that i was right beside odessyus. The movie has helped me understand the book alot. The actors needed some help on theyre acting but i dont mind that its still . It is amazing to see the book come to life. The only negatives in about this book the long study guides and the random quizess. Over all the book was a very interesting one. Towards the end of the book the story caught my attention. It got really gory really fast. I was glad that he got home back to his kingdom. The book came with pros and cons but there were more pros then cons. But the pros rose over the cons.

The Oddyessy

The Oddyessy is a adventureous book so far. It is a very intresting book it has a lot of details added to the characters. I love how the author brings the book to life. If you ask me two words i could describe the oddyessy would have to be full of details. Details makes the world go round. There are a bunch of pros and cons that come with this book. The pros are the book is adventuerous and very intresting which i like and keeps me turning the page; the liticure is very marvlous. The cons are there just way too many people introduced in this book another con is most of the time i dont understand what going on and which god is which. The work we have to do for the oddyessy is too much too handle. As much as i would like to love this book the cons are pushing me away. If i had to rate this book so far id probibly give it a 6. I would recomend this book to people intersted in history or myths and gos and such. But were not done with the book so there is still time to change my mind about this book.

End Of First Quater (blog #1)

This quater has moved quite fast. This being my first year at any highschool it didnt take a while for me to accustom myself to the learing expectaions and guide lines. My mid-quater grade has been a whole lot better then my end of the quater grade. But i dont mind it much my grades this year have been better then any other year im at a really high C+ average and im quite comfortable with that. I would want atleast a B- or something of that sort but C+ is still good. But the only thing that i need improvement on is my behavior. It has pissed off half my teachers but im slowly getting better. I need to be on a good note with my teachers because i need to get recomended to colleges. But otherwise i have been better this year then last year. Homework hasnt been burtal to me yet. But i bet teachers have something up their seleves. But till then im going to eat whatever gets thrown at me.

College Is Coming Too Soon??

College is so close i can feel the campus breeze. Its weird how fast people grow up. Just yesterday i remember letting go of my mothers hand as i ran to my preschool class. I can barely believe im in the tenth grade. Im really not ready for college im barley ready for my SAT. But i take the school year day by day. I feel really proud of myself for passing my writting grad test. Even though it waasnt a score i wanted i was cool with it i mean atleast i passed. From i what hear college is the hardest form of education there is. My cousins are in college and most of theyre work that i see is just unbelieveable. And on top of all things there are a bunch of colleges to choose from. And the stress of applying and trying to get recommended by your teachers. Now the expense is a subject by itself. It is ridiculos the way the economy is got this set up. And theres all ways that thought in the back of your mind about whos going to be the mastermind behind a columbine. But its not going to keep me from going. They say education is the key of life. But i guess it will be worth it once your sitting on a house and car with a good job and cool family.

My Invocation

Tell me muse about the young boys of many miles. About the times they dashed into the harsh winter of a amazing city. On the journey to find warmth. Theyre bodies suffered mind numbing cold. Numb toes and fingers, sore feet. Dying to reach a warm destination with these boys soon to be men thogether they push something like a team. Quiting isnt a opition if it was the winter would freeze theyre bodies like water in the fridge.

Is Lupe Fiasco The Next Legend??

Lupe fiasco or wasalu muhammed jaco is the next be thing. His first album was called Food and Liquor. It was had four grammy nominations. best rap solo, best rap song, best rap album. He only won one of the four nommiantions. He won best urban performance. It reached number one on billboard's best rap album. To me his first album wasnt the best album he made it could have been just a little better. But on the other hand his second album just blew mind. It was spectacular. The Cool is what it was called. It was certified gold. Once again his album reached number one on the top rap album. The cool was a much darker album the Food and liquor it. It was dark because his farther and his friend "Stack Bundles"; also his mentor was sentenced to 44 years in prison. The Cool was a marvouls peice. He really spoke his mind in the album he brought the songs to life. I think lupe is a legend because one he isnt mainstream like other rappers for example lil wayne. Two he has alot of respect for the hip hop game. Three he doesnt rap about nonsense like money drugs or women. He is a unique rapper. I also think he is the best rapper in his time. His only competion is mos def, common, talib kweli and atmosphere. But those guys are on his level. Lupe fiasco is a legend.

Wild 2-0 Already?

The wild season opener was amazing. It was more then i expected then the wild. They played the boston bruins. They played strong but fell weak towards the third period. They scored three goals in one period. The score of the game ended up being 4-3 wild on top. Theyre second game was against the atlanta Thrashers. They played good koivu had two assits, gabriok had a goal unassisted and andrew brunette fromer Avalanche scored as well. I thought the wild would struggle since they traded two very talented players Brian Rolston and Pavol Dametria. But i guess i was proved wrong. But we did get some good players in the trade. Like Andrew Brunette. He already scored his first goal as a wild agaisnt the thrashers. What really suprised me the most was that Mikko Koivu is now the new captain of the wild. I think the wild will have a great season. definetly play off material. They got a new mascot. which helps them get motivated guess. Last year they had a good year they made it to the playoffs but lost in round one to the Colorado Avalanche. This year im looking foward for them to make it further then last year.
