Global issues are narrowed down to two things in the u.s. global warming and the iraq war. The u.s is responsible for both issues. America is the leading country with the most waste, and they started war with iraq over "guns" that bush sr. sold to them. None of these issues seem to be coming to an end golbal warming just keeps getting worser, and is predicted to kill the plant. And the war is just getting more into unkown terroritorty.

Holidays are single handedly the most brilliant invention that was ever invented. Every kid loves holidays no one in there right minds hate it. Grown Folks get off work to spend time with there kids and kids get out of the worst thing in the world (school). Some holidays lead up to speical events like christmas for example. Everyone loves christmas and everyone is in a joyful mood. Holidays agood for families because they bring families together. The thing about holidays are there are bunch of differnet ones for different religions. i never ran across a holiday where everyone in the world celebrated which is weird. The thing that i dont understand about holidays are the ones that dont make sense like st. patricks day??

Bollywood the indian version of hollywood. bollywood is an interesting aspect of the film making culture. Bollywood movies i learned are longer then any usual hollywood movies. i think bollywood movies are way to too cheesy. i find intresting movies to have a sickening plot or funny movies that are just nonstop laughter. I just don't like the singing and dancing. Bollywood is decent i dont really hate it but still. My question i have about bollywood movies are how much do the actors get paid? Bollywood movies remined me of chick flicks. The only plus out of bollywood movies are some girls are banging hot.

Change happens everywhere in schools, tv/media and at work. My theory on change is "things come up people change". When i asked my parents about the topic of change they told me a lot of interesting things, one of the things i remembered in that conversation was my dad saying "this is the future and i came along way from the past". I thing what he meant by that was that is we have all this technolgy at our hands and things come easy and faster for us. When one things of change they think of Barrack Obama. The man has brought change to the whole entire world. After all he is the first black prsident there ever was. He made everyone believe that change can still happen and it was near.

When we speak about hope some think of Barrack Obama. Barrack Obama took the meaning of hope and completely flipped it. An African American kid growing up in a country of prejudice rose to become president of the united states. He found hope and used it to rise to the top and it was his strategy. Barrack gave so many other people hope out there, he gave them something to believe in something they can be proud of. Hope is universal theme throughout the world. Sometimes its viewed as a good successful thing, sometimes its not.

When im asked what do you think about religon in the world i answer with one word WARFARE. since im doing this blog about religion im not going to go in further detail about what i think about religon, i'll tell you about my friend. He is involved in he's church volunteering, and singing in choir. he counsels younger kids in a summer camp hopefully making a difference for them. He doesnt think people should argue and fight about their religions because no religion was started with that intent. He also believe that people should become enlighten and educated about all religions instead of being violent and ignorant. many of the last great conflicts our country has been involved in have been religiously based. world war II, War on terror, and others.

Gender is always results in conflict or arguements between boys and girls. Boys say there stronger and smarter then girls and this article backs them up on it. This article is about the effect that gender has on people in the television business.i found out that women are underrepresented in the television business by over a 3:1 ratio to males. To me this number is shocking, and to be honest I felt quite bad for the women who are on television now knowing that they are discriminated against this much in the TV business. I was also shocked when I saw that it is an 80% to 20% ration is the voice overs in a hour sequence in a television program, such as the news. This just in a way woke me up to see that that number of women are that much against in the TV world it is ridiculous. believe women should be treated better in society because they deserve so more then what theyre getting now.

I read this article and ones similar to it about child labor laws in India. I find it strange and honestly a little incredible that child labor is being abused around the world. Sometimes i forget that not all kids have easy American lives and they spend their adolescence working in sweatshops. India put a new law in effect that forbids children under the age of 14 to work. It just shows that cultures are so different. Kids in rural Vietnam for instance, often don't know how to read or write because they just spend their whole life doing hard agricultural work their whole life. I'm glad that i live in a society were I'm not abused by child labor, and can receive an education so i don't spend my whole life doing manual labor.

This article is about a young man from Zimbabwe, who overcame the greatest of adversity's, and made it to America to attend college. He came from a Violent extremely impoverish area of Zimbabwe. He had no family, no money, and not even a place to live. He found a place to live with a relative. He was selected along with a few other derivable students by a program run by the U.S. embassy. This programs allows the best students, or most deservings to attend American university's. Dominic studies, and never giving into to his bad situation payed off when he was brought to America to attend college, were he hopes to attain a major as an engineer. I think that this is a perfect example of how hard work can help you overcome even the greatest of obstacles.

http://environment.nationalgeographic.com/environment/natural-disasters/avalanche-profile.html

I read a natural geographic article that i found very interesting about avalanches. I learned some facts such as they kill over 150 people every year, and if you get trapped in one you rarely survive. Avalanches can travel from speeds in excess to 80 miles an hour, which would be a little hard to outrun. They are often triggered by snow mobiles, skiers, and snowboards who cause much snow to move around, triggering more and more ice, sow,and rock to follow. It isn't true that its triggered by yelling or a gun shot it takes much more then that. This is why when you are on mountains skiing and what not, you must stay on the beaten trial so a disaster like this doesn't happen. I'm glad i read this article because before this i really didn't know anything about avalanches.
